Canada are the sole owners of the brand "ESTELLE" Normak Fashions P Ltd. operates two factories in India as follows: The main facility totally dedicated to export under hundred percent EOU, exporting mainly to USA, Canada, UK, Australia and Hong Kong. The second facility manufacturing jewellery for domestic (Indian) consumption, under the brand name 'Estelle'. The above units are located in the city of Hyderabad. The current work force averages between 700-800 employees. OPERATING HIGHLIGHTSA) Normak Canada is totally responsible for all export business supplied through Normak Fashions (India) . B) Capacity (export facility) is approximately 600, 000 units per month. For corporate promotion products, capacity can be converted to 5 million units per month. C) Fashion jewellery is the sole product manufactured currently. Goods are produced for a diversified group of global customers ranging from volume promotional items through designer label quality jewellery. In other words, what would be considered low to high-end product. D) Product variables: both nickel-bearing and nickel-free jewellery are manufactured. Alloys ranging from lead free / high tin to low tin are used. E) Production specifications are geared solely to each customers own needs / requirements. The Domestic ESTELLE Jewellery is 24 Carat Gold / Silver Plated. The Earring Posts are made of Hypo-Allergic Surgical steel to avoid skin allergies. All stones used are High Quality imported Crystals / CZs. F) Production materials are supplied to India by Normak Canada using sources / qualities specified by each customer. This ensures quality standards are controlled from the outset. G) Model development / adjustments: are done through Normak Canada and then sent to Normak Fashions (P) Ltd. for manufacturing. A group of model makers are employed in Canada for this purpose. H) Electrophoretic Lacquering: This lacquer is plated onto the to all Silver plated products eliminating oxidation and increasing its wear resistance. This unit was imported from Canada in 1995. I) Stop-off plating (two-tone) is a Normak speciality. The Indian factories were built using materials and machinery purchased from North America. Senior personnel were originally trained on sites in Canada and U. S. A. Key personnel continue to visit North America annually to enhance their knowledge by spending time at various factories primarily in Toronto and Providence. Normaks endeavour in the field of exports has earned the company many prestigious awards. A few prominent ones are: 1.
